Update for Terraria coming

Apparently the developer reached out the community on ideas recently on what they would like to see in the game. He is in the process of supposedly patching the game and releasing some new content.

 

It has been awhile since I have played, but when the new updates are released it may get me playing again just to try it. It was a pretty fun game and I put around 57 hours into it. Anyone else play it or looking forward to the new patch?

Reaching out to the community as in:

 

- Dev updating game for over a year and releasing MASSIVE update FOR FREE  (hardmode)

- Some time later: dev decides to outsource a port to consoles which would include new content (duh... why else buy it on console :s)

 

People getting butthurt because the pc version doesn't get that extra content.

No really I was shocked that people DEMANDED that they would release even more stuff for free for the pc version.

 

I sinked 100+ hours in it and often ran a little server during class.

 

ps. I love the dev though, if they decide to add content to pc version that would me AMAZEBALLS

From what I understood these updates are for the PC, but we will see. I heard about the console version coming out as well. I would expect the pc version to have the same stuff if not more than the console

Nope, console version changes do not come to pc and pc changes do not come to console. Well, if everything still is as it was in January

and it actually came out for consoles like last week (xbox link, too lazy to fetch psn link)

 

Reason is simple: console version is made by another company (licenses and stuff) => so no whale in pc

but yeah, it will be awesome when it releases. Would be even willing to pay again for the update the amount of money I paid for the game (which was 2.5euro)
