deathfromabo Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Should we be kicking/warning people on Killbox for homophobic comments or insults, yes or no? Quote
Skillz Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I've always used my own judgement. If someone to me is trying to be an ass yes if its seen and stopped then no. I very rarely kick someone less its for last stand, mostly because i'm too busy shooting to read Quote
Malokyte Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 If it's a deliberate insult and they aren't willing to stop using it past the first warning, I kick them. Personally, I'm insulted when somebody uses faggot or other derogatory terms when its not used in tasteful humour, so I take a harsher stance on homophobia. Quote
Reaver Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 i kind of agree with malo on this, there are times when yea they are trying to be homophobic and in which case i warn them. However, half of the words are just common language nowadays to say their dislike for something. It is a fine line, but it is just a matter of common sense to tell what they really mean by the words they are saying. Quote

Thomas Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 ye....they deffinately get the boot in the arse(kicked) if they are like "f*** you you faggoty ass lmg sprayer"......not that that ever happens just if it does =P Quote
Duckie Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I warn for that type of behavior... I usually get one of 3 responses: 1. then they start going "stFU DUCKIE DOUCHE F** F*****" etc. then they're asking for a kick. 2. then they say sorry, and i say thanks 3. or then they don't say anything, and the warn was enough. and then just warn again when they do it again, to repeat the process. MadHatter Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 yeah i would agree that its too circumstantial to create definate rules that you must follow. it isnt that formulaic. if i were you, if they do it once or twice, warn (and make sure they notice the warning). only if they start abusing you or continue to offend, then kick. however, use common sense and treat every case differently. Kinan Eldari Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Indeed, like many here I warn first. Of course, if they continue their tirade I always have this nice big boot. Quote
