A_Snake Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 A question about search and destroy. I’ve seen this on Abner’s where the team with the bomb may win one match due to planting and defending until the bomb goes off, and then they win the second match due to eliminating the enemy. They then lose the third match due to the bomb being defused. So the score is 2 – 1. Switching sides. Now the currently winning team is on the defending side. The team with the bomb wins the match with either a bomb plant or eliminating the enemy. The game ends stating the first team that was winning 2-1 lost the game. In essence it was a 2-2 score. I thought the game would go until one team had 3 wins. I’ve seen this happen twice now once on bog and once on crash, but not countdown yet. The first time I thought I had just miscounted the wins, but the second time it was obvious and others mentioned something about it. Has anyone noticed this or is this the way the game is set up? Seems confusing when someone thinks they are winning the game and all of a sudden it comes up as defeated. Quote
Dddrgn Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I've noticed it, it's an odd, non-linear way of setting up the gametype, but that's activision for you. Quote
