Corey Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Following growth constraints in the United States, AT&T (T) is reportedly considering an acquisition of a European wireless provider to drum up new revenue streams, according to The Wall Street Journal. The carrier is said to be interested in entering into a new wireless market where it can upgrade technology and implement its lucrative pricing strategies. European carriers such as Royal KPN, the largest provider in the Netherlands, and Everything Everywhere, one of the biggest carriers in the United Kingdom, are said to on AT&T’s radar. An overseas acquisition would not only help benefit AT&T, but it would also help mature the mobile landscape in Europe, which has been slow to adopt 4G technologies.
