Teamspeak usage

Hey guys,

 

I read on the forums all the time that FA is all about having fun. I like that

 

So in order to get even MORE fun, why not use Teamspeak more often?

 

 

Try it, it really elevates your gaming experience (+ your English & social skills)!

 

 

And plz just buy a microphone if you don't have one

ill get back on ts once i get new headset previous got broken why? too long wire i hade Creative f4tality and the wire allways got messes in chair and when i stood up headset flys ._..

so going to get wireless one once i got it (in christmas im back on ts)

I got ts installed when I made my app (I had never used it before), but couldn't really get far with using it. Xfire was really easy compared to that. Is there a quick how-to somewhere that I could use, I'll try searching it myself as well.

 

Also I was curious to hear if it really improves team performance in-game...

It is good for coordinating between team members and does increase opportunities for winning games that take a team effort.

 

I used to be on it all the time but got lonely so I stopped going to check. I’d be more than glad to go out there if others would join.

 

As for ease of use I find it real easy, but I’ve used TS for years. I also have Xfire, Skype, Ventrilo and who knows what else.

 

For TS once installed and you open the product - click on “connections” in the upper left corner. Then click on “connect” to get a log in box.

 

In the connect logon box there is a place for server address:

Here type: ts.clan-fa.com:4666

 

Below that there is a place to type your Nickname and this should be your in-game name or what people know you by. There is also a place for a server password, but it is not needed for this server so leave it blank.

 

At the bottom of this form box is a “connect” button. Click this and it will take you into the FA/TS Lounge.

 

From here and back at the top next to the original connections menu is a "bookmarks" menu. Click that and add this server to your book marks. Then when you open TS again rather than going through connections just click on bookmarks and click the FA server to connect.

 

Now in this FA Team Speak server there are a lot of rooms to go into. You can go into any other than ones with a padlock icon next to them. For these you need a password. I usually just go into COD4Harcore by double clicking on it and then I wait for hours or days for someone to come in and say hello.

 

At the bottom is a place to see who comes and goes via time stamp log and a chat box for typing.
