clarity Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 honestly, the vast majority of movies today are a massive disappointment, horror movies take 1st place in the disappointment department. half assed attempts at below average storylines, hit and miss with the acting, special effects are easy so i dont even bother considering those as part of a horror movie anymore, one movie that was pleasantly surprising though (if you dont mind reading subtitles) is I Saw The Devil its a japanese horror/thriller and i must say, quite brutal. almost to an over the top level of brutal lol but if youre not a girl or squeamish youll be fine. I have high hopes for "Mama" though, but as with most horror movies today i have an err of hesitation to say anything about how good i think it might be.
