Need a config/scripts ?

As I see alot of scripting and config topics, I thought why not add a site where you can all download some scripts and configs.

Just go to http://www.gamersfiles.net/wolfenstein.php?game=enemyterritory and choise your script/config.

 

There are configs allowing you automaticly crouch when shooting, and many more stuff like this.

 

The stuff I think is REALLY required for every player are the following:

 

seta r_dynamiclight 0 //A MUST!! - Disables lighting effect when shooting, if you have this set to "1", it will be harder to see your enemy.

seta r_drawSun 0 //Do you want to see the sun on ET ? "1"= yes, "0"=no.

seta cg_autoswitch 0 //Picking up all binocs, BUT you will automatically wear binocs. (When shooting, and you accidently walk on a binoc, you are wearing a binocular.

seta cg_bloodDamageBlend 0 //Disables blood on your screen, makes viewing better.

seta cg_bloodFlash 0 //Disables blood on your screen, makes viewing better.

seta cg_showblood 0 //Disables blood on your screen, makes viewing better.

seta cg_noAmmoAutoSwitch 1 //If you play ETPro, set this to "0". If you play Jaymod/ETPub, set this to "1", this will auto reload your weapon if you used your last bullets.

seta cl_maxpackets 100 //Less lagg, make it "100". You wont have less legg when setting it to "0" nor if you set it higher then "100".

seta cl_timeNudge 0 //Make this "0", or "-20", not lower then "-20", not higher then "0". This reduces lagg.

seta com_maxfps 125 //Reduce lagg, leave it "125", or "76".

seta r_gamma 2 //Makes the game less dark.

seta snaps 20 //Leave this to 20. Reduces lagg.

seta rate 40000 //Leave this "40000" or "25000". Not lower, nor higher.

If you see a cheater, spec him(not with !spec name!!!) and then press F12.

 

If you have a bug in your config or a problem write in console: /exec etconfig.cfg

Thanks for your code. Everyone has a different computer and style of playing; and what works for one person may not be great for someone else, so the more people sharing their code the better.

And some codes are really required to play, like dynamiclight.
