ok i have a new laptop and cause i am the best ICT er there is *kuch* *kuch*

 

no i have a small prob that mine screen aint fully filt....

 

on the left and on the right i have 2 big black side bars with nothing and in center normal et.

 

mine screen is 17.3 inch but that cant be the prob cause mine pc screen is bigger.

 

someone has a solution for me?

Ahh! I've had the same problem. Just go to options . > system > resolution.

You'll probably see resolution set to 800x600 . just play around a little bit with the different screen sizes, and you'll eventually find one that fits your laptops screen : )

I have same problem now with new laptop,and if i change resolution nothing change,so there isnt way to get fullscreen with laptop ?

yes there is just check what is ur current desktop resolution and see the what resolution ur using currently and fill those values in the width and height

/seta r_mode -1

/seta r_customwidth

/seta r_customheight

and after doing those cvars in console, just /Vid_restart and you should have fullscreen and you might wanna add that into ur current cfg file so you don't have to do that everytime

i did it without the a, like this

 

/set r_mode -1

/set r_customwidth 1336

/set r_customheight 768

 

and then just exit and start game

 

but yeah this is the best method and it worked for me!
