What is the accepted manner for calling out someone in the chat who regularly does stuff like block doorways and / or arrogantly positions themselves in front of you while you are engaged in shooting? Unfortunately I can't shoot them, they're on my side. So what do ya do?

I would say ask them to move. Usually in the team chat - that way it's in blue and there is a better chance they will see it. If that doesn't work...ask a few more times. After that...just give up and cry.

Yep. Ask them politely to not block doorways via team chat. I would ask multiple times.

 

However, not everyone speaks English so they may not respond in turn. In this case, just find another way around. There are usually more than one way to exit a location (unless you're stuck in a closet).

 

If you ask someone to politely move and they become rude about it, again, politely explain your reasoning. If they continue to be rude, continue to block doorways (after having acknowledged they're doing it), then you can always take screenshots or a demo (demo is usually better) and report the player as a trouble player here. This way we can speak to them directly.

 

Note: Sometimes door blocking happens in populated games. Too many close knit spawns, people trying to rush through, and many people not covering their back to take note of any teammates wanting to pass by. It's best to keep calm and go another route if there's no response.
