T-Mobile gets Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G with QWERTY keyboard and Ice Cream Sandwich

Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G Release Date

Continuing its commitment to offering smartphones with a wide variety of form factors, Samsung (005930) and T-Mobile jointly announced the Galaxy S Relay 4G — a slider smartphone with a QWERTY keypad and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich packed with business-friendly features such as enhanced Microsoft Exchange ActiveSYNC and AES-256 bit encryption. The Galaxy S Relay 4G will run on T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ 42 network and will have a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera capable of shooting in 720p HD. Although specific pricing and release timing weren’t announced, T-Mobile says the Galaxy S Relay 4G should arrive in the coming weeks.  T-Mobile’s full press release follows below.
