Cod4 crashes

Sometimes when I play cod4 it just crashes, out of nowhere. The first times I got a message afterwards that there was not enough virtual memory available (I still can't think of any reasons why, because I never got that before), so I boosted my virtual memory, and everything was fine. But now it's crashing again.

 

What should I do?

I think Setting /com_hunkmegs to a higher value should do it.

My cod 4 crashes leaves a black screen with last sound repeating over and over then goes to send error report... have reinstalled pb updated everything any clues out there... running xp pro sp3 have nice asus board 512 mb video 4g ram dual core amd gets annoying crashing never know when it will happen never or after 5 min....

I maybe (finnaly) have a solution for this, because it always happend in the first 30 minutes of gameplay on a server where you have some admin rights (player+), I always play the first 45 minutes on a server I don't have those rights, and it works almost always. Hope it helps.
