Minecraft Sever is crashing and lots of lag

I have noticed the sever has crashed twice in the past hour and there is a lot of block lag to the point where i will dig about 20 blocks and then it will reset me back. I am not the only one who has notice this.

I can vouch for this. I was just about to post a thread about it! The server has crashed twice like Ghost has said. The server is has currently been down for about five minutes and is continuing to fail. Is there anyway this can be fixed?

What time is the server crashing. Cause I am on nearly all day and it never crashes.Sure there's lots of lag but I haven't gotten any Game Crash problems.

It's usually crashing around 1/2am EST it gets really laggy then eventually just crashes. It happened a few nights ago to me and my friend, but tonight it was down for a good twenty minutes.
