Corey Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Following the success of the original “phablet,” Samsung is reportedly readying a sucessor for its Galaxy Note smartphone. The South Korea manufacturer will release the handset in October to compete directly against Apple’s next-generation iPhone, according to MK Business News. The smartphone’s display will be larger than 5.3-inches and will reportedly feature an unbreakable plane (UBP), which is a precursor to the flexible display. The Note II will also be equipped with a slimmer design and a quad-core processor according to the report, and it will run the upcoming Android Jelly Bean operating system.
