its depends what you want to sound and where you go with your drum kit.

i got both and use my eletronic to practise without have trouble with my neighbors and plus record some things.i use it into midi samplers like ezdrummer/ superior drums and reason(for some eletro music results) pluged with protools)

live stage i go with my bealty acoustic blue sparkle :)
