Hey Everyone!

My Girlfriend and I are having a bit of a connection error we beleive. She has been playing on my guy on and off for that past month because she is wanting to get into the game. Well, tonight she decided that it was time to make her own character to play W:ET. I transfered my entire W:ET folder over to hers and she also downloaded a couple different patches. However, after she made her charter and then tried to log into the FA Recruitment server she recieved an error message. *IP CONFIGURATION CONFLICTION #0000* So, I asked in game if anyone could help me and I did get some help, but we are still having an issue.

The first few attempts we tried to connect through her phone. Using the "Hotspot" internet on that phone. It is a Palmpree and its through verizon.

We then put her online through an Eternet cable hooked up directly to the router. The same error message came up.

If anyone has any advice on how we can get this figured out, it would be much appreciated. Thank you :)

Were both of you trying to be on the same server at the same time? I've never heard of IP conflicts inside ET, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had problems with duplicate GUIDs in game. I'd personally recommend reinstalling ET on her machine from scratch, then copy over any map files or configs that you want to keep. Don't copy over any files that the installer created. You'll probably need to reconfigure a lot of settings, but ET's an old enough game that this whole process shouldn't take more than a half hour to do, if I remember correctly.

Hope this helps.
