Krayzie
Alright, here comes the crappy picture (car is in the garage and horrible lighting so can't get my own picture) That fancy L shaped hose that I have pointed out there, what would it be leaking? My guess is coolant since it eventually gets connected to the radiator. But I have no clue what the hose would be called. Stupid question right? Eventually leads to radiator so its coolant. But I'm not sure. Just replaced the coolant reservoir today and it got new coolant (lime green) but the liquid it is leaking is sticky and a brownish. I know that there was still old coolant in it. I want to get it replaced since it is leaking. And what is the part of the engine it is connected to? Because that is as well leaking a little bit. Could not find an diagram of the engine, and the local auto stores don't carry a manual for this year. It is a 2003 Chevy Malibu with a 3.1L V6
Funksdead
I would say it is a coolant bypass hose and or coolant tube from what I see it runs to a port in your intake manifold/plenum...little bit different design of the older 3800 series engines hoses that I have replaced. Any reputable part store can pull up a diagram to aid in further identification tell them to look in their Dorman or Motormite part books.
