Since I moved, I’m having a curious and very annoying problem with my internet connection.

Whenever I connect to an ET server, after a while (between 5 and 20min), ping goes crazy.

If I stay connected to the server, it stays like this. Ping is also ugly when I check other servers on xfire.

But if I disconnect, after a few minutes ( around 5), ping is back to normal.

This happens every day, whatever the time is. I’m using a wifi connection, I don’t download when I play.

Hi ,

Try this and look at the ping average ,

Start > Run > write this without quote "ping 178.63.72.170 -t" ( Screenshot 1 )

then,

Check the ping times , about the IP : its jay1 IP numbers , you can change it by Server you play.

Or, maybe like "DJ" said , Someone download wile you play ET.

Or, Check your FPS in game servers , Try to make it equal = 43 , 75 , 125

and,

check your motor logs also , Use this command to control FPS : /com_maxfps 43 or 75 or 125

Thanks,

Have fun !!
