I had them but not a big fan of them

although the heating pad is quite cool :)

 

I make my own MRE's for when I go camping/hiking

just use a foodsaver vaccuum and take all the air out of it and it can last forever :)

I'm involved on the officer/commissioned side of things, so this kind of behavior isn't "allowed". However, my younger brother who is enlisted tells of stories where they make MRE bombs... he says it's totally worth getting smoked!

I got a hold of some self-heating MREs couple months back. Amazing lol. Just pour a little bit of water on the heating pad and a few minutes later... viola, your meal is ready. The spaghetti was delicious, but the lasagna one that tasted like shit.
