Barcelona for now, but Madrid isn't far off and they have a good chance of winning this season.

Right now, I think it's quite obvious that Barcalona has *the best odds for winning this year. However, I definitely hope that a third team will arise this year and make the La Liga a bit more exciting! Honestly, I find it quite a 'Micky Mouse' league, which pretty much means that besides a few 'top teams,' in this case, Barca and Real Madrid, other teams really don't get a chance to go for the championship, which is a shame. I'm hoping Villareal, or perhaps that team with the new Oil Sheik (Malorca?) can bring some real competition!
