M1 Abrahms Program needs your help!

Hello,

I work at JSMC Lima, Ohio or "General Dynamics". A world leader in not only military vehicle manufacturing, but many of lines of work . We here at JSMC take extreme pride in building these vehicles and make sure no detail is left unchecked and ready to protect our brothers and sisters at battle that fight for our freedom. Over 9,000+ M1 Abrahms were built here from the ground up. And thousands more have been refurbished and/or built for our allies. (of course, we don't build tanks for others countries that are anywhere near what we build for ourselves) Many skilled people work at this facility and the years and years of experience could be lost soon!!!!

What I personally am askingis that if you care about your country and the people that protect it... Please contact your congressmen and senators offices and tell them that we need these programs like The Abrahms and EFV (amphibious;expeditionary fighting vehicle) to continue on during these"defense cuts". Such a bright idea in these times were in right??? Like we need to cut defense. Did anyone know that out of the roughly 194 nations of the world we give $$$ support to around 152-154 of them???? Yes. Send cuts to these countries. Put a tariff on all chinese goods. Talk about job growth...there would be an explosin!!!

 

Anyways, I posted this not fr my own job here. But for the mass experience in building these vehicles that will be lost if defensive cuts hit the abrahms program. I know more about tanks than I do my own vehicle at home and some of these guys and girls that work here know these tanks down to the nut and bolt! Please contact your represenatives and voice your opinion about these cuts and help keep our fighting force overseas safe so the can come home to their friends and families!
