hey yo

i didnt mamage to update my graphic card, and i (nearly) tried anything =(

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

Driverdate: 15.03.2010

Driverversion: 8.712.2.1000

win7 64 bit

when i go on control panel ---> driver-manager ---> graphic-card --> (ATI mobility ...)

i click on update driver, it says: driver is already on latest version

i think latest is 8.85

I downloaded ati catalyst and ran it, selected language, selected install, and then it closes with an error message (from windows):

Catalyst Install Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close

i googled it and see MANY other posts about this problem coming up....does anyone of u know how to fix this?

alright noob time. I have a low end graphics card if I was to update (if there is one) would it incresse my game play?

Do you mean update your drivers? Or update to a new graphics card?

Update Drivers: Meh, probably won't notice any difference. Still a good idea to keep your drivers updated though.

Update/Upgrade Card: Definitely notice a difference. Smoother rendering, faster FPS, probably way better graphics overall.

Depends on what you call "low end" and if you meant upgrade to a new "High End" card, then with the right configuration and settings you might notice a night and day difference as long as the rest of your computer hardware can keep up ... if you meant update the drivers of, and keep your existing "low end" card, then as sicsiksix said ... nope. Though he's also correct you'll want to check for current drivers semi regularly to keep your system functioning as well as it can.
