Have you heard this news that tackles about gay military? Well, in the news they mentioned that at 12:01 a.m. on Tues, September 20, the U.S. military's Don't Ask Don't Tell policy basically came to a close. Gays and lesbians in the U.S. armed forces are now able to function freely. The Defense Department claims it will show no tolerance for anti-gay behavior. Nearly 14,000 soldiers were released under the 18-year-old policy. The federal government is urging them to reenlist. But GLBT Americans, in and out of the service, still have several difficulties to face. The U.S. military DADT policy is officially Out.

I actually just finished watching this about 2 weeks ago, I LOVED season 1, season 2 - 4 were amazing too. Season 5... eh, I wasn't a big fan of the whole 'newspaper' scoop, but I got why they added it. Plus in the end, it was quite a realistic ending, even though we all probably don't want to believe it... heh
