When i want to play COD 4 i always have connection issues. When i press the win key and go to my desktop the game runs perfectly. Only problem is that i can't play. Anyone who can help?

It will probably help if you provide more information such as does your internet conenction work fine for other applications? A specific server? Maybe provide a WinMtr result for a server. I think the more info you provide the better assessment can be made.

try truing the graphics down things like bullet impact this seemed to speed up my connection because it did not have to render all the bullet hits and also turn everything either off or on low on till The server slows down in people and then you can turn them back up.
