been messing around with boats recently, I live on a riverbank in a tropical paradise so might as well right?

blue one is a plastic foam filled 4m craft with honda 4hp longtail, I braced the transom with marine alum and inox bolts, repaired engine and propshaft, filled shipworm holes with epoxy, painted it blue and black and flipped it with a trailer and motorcycle to pull it with recently

the grey one is a 10/11m ex Viet war US Navy fiberglass PBR gunboat that one of my clients purchased today and we moved it across the country and got it back in the water; this one will be a fun rig around here for sure; it's got the right owner

If I remember I will take a pciture of 2 boats I got by a lake in North of Norway we use for fishing and to put out fishing nets: I use oars as we keep them chained up with the boat throughou the year. Got a motorboat engine we can hook up, but to get to the boats and lake we have to hike downhill through a very challenging forest and terrain for 30 min. Only way to get the engine to the boat is to carry it on your shoulders. Or we could drive the boat engine for 20 min to the other side of the lake, but then we have to still hike 30 min and then row the boat for 1 hour to the place to access the piers to get the engine.

BUt it's all fun!
Never gotten a fish in that lake though.... If I remember I willt ry to take some pictures, will visit the place in august.
Btw tghe boats are one made out of glassfiber and the other one is plastic. The plasitc one is so bad a family member want to leave it unlocked so someone can steal it so we don't have to deal with it.

But yeah, got 2 boats 😃

i have occasionally fished since I was a kid, am now 42, I have caught two fish using a line in my life

you can stand me beside a fully stocked pond of hungry fish with the best bait in the world and not a nibble

my wife, OTOH, could catch fish in a barren radioactive swamp with a piece of string and a rusty hook in minutes flat
