I listen to a lot of music. Neurotically so. It helps me stay present. Helps my mind. I dont rightly know how I find some of the stuff I do. But I do.

Ive been very fortunate to have been witness to a lot of really great live music over the years. Im a cook and have actually cooked for a bunch of musicians in my life. The coolest kitchen position Ive held was as the sous chef for a music venue in DC.

I mostly listen to rock and folk honestly. But my taste has some of everything I guess. I really like European music. The British music scene is amazing and has been for decades as an example.

If I had to choose just one band, it would definitely be Metallica, from all eras.

My mom used to do data entry for the naval hospitals before she stopped working and became a stay at home mom(after my dad had some rank)

Anyway, so this guy my mom worked with showed me Metallica back when I was a little kid. I love 80s Metallica personally. I really do. Their first several albums are phenomenal works. Even with all the Dave Mustaine controversy.
