ETL: Sound problem

Hi guys, this evening after 09.00 PM my ETL stopped letting me hear the sounds of my shooting but I can hear everything else and this happens on all servers.
I'm playing with version 2.83.1 which until a few hours ago was working fine; I also tried reinstalling ETL but nothing to do even with the /snd_restart suggested to me by Drempa who I thank -
Does anyone have other solutions in mind?

Have you tried set cg_hitsounds 1?

The sound of your gun firing is missing or the sound of hitting enemies?

hey 00db,

if /snd_restart isnt working then i suggest those few options :
1. like raz said cg_hitsounds 

Value	Effect
0	None
1	All
3	Disable body hitsounds
5	Disable headshot hitsounds
7	Disable body and headshot hitsounds
11	Disable body and team hitsounds
13	Disable headshot and team hitsounds
25	Disable team hitsounds

 

2. /com_soundMegs 160

 

if those doesnt work, i would suggest to replace your pk3s in silent/jaymod/nq etc or run pk3 cleaner.. since its on all servers like you said. 

if this doesnt work let me know
