I have a question....

I play on silent1

Is there any way to stop the bobbing from side to side while running?

I tried the /cg commands but i still swerve when i run.

Is there a way to stop it on s1?

Thanks

Hello,

if you are using ETLegacy then use:

cg_bobbing "0"

if you are using 2.6b then:

cg_bobYaw "0"

cg_bobPitch "0"

cg_bobRoll "0"

cg_bobUp "0"

also for both of them use :

cg_runpitch "0"

cg_runroll "0"

Hey Silver Leader,

When you have such a technical problem involving moving or about the engine itself, it's always nice to have a video (understand a demo), it will greatly improve the visualization of the problem 👍 or at least recognize the problem in the future even if we can't solve it this time.

Further typical troubleshooting questions include:

- As you're not new to the game, since when do you have the problem? is there by any chance a specific download or change of settings that occur at same date? did you connect to a new server at that time?

- Does the problem only occur on Silent mod or on other mods as well?

- Do you have the problem only on Silent 1 or do you also have the problem with Beginners #2 and Hardcore (also running Silent mod) ?

Note that with current optical fiber deployment, you may connect somewhere and download an additional pk3 and don't even realize it, since it downloads so fast.

Hope it adds up to the problem resolution ++

Hi there

What drempa post, should work.

try this:

Start your game, go options then, game and have a look MOVEMENT ( view bobbing scale ) make sure its on 0.00. if its not change it then exit game and start again see if stay at 0.00.

That's not screen bobbing. On legacy mod you have your weapon animations off, that's not possible on silent mod

that's they way it is. It's the gun. Not your character itself.
Your settings, if everything is set to 0 as mention above, should be good.

In ETL there is a setting to have no animation of any guns (which I see you have turned off when you shoot/toss nade in the first video). That setting does not exist in Silent. But you can do cg_drawgun 0 to hide your gun.

If i had to show the gun, i would tend to prefer there is a gun bobbing (warning: this is not screen bobbing), which makes it much more natural than a gun that doesn't move a single bit.

But that brings me to the real question: why even show the gun? wouldn't it solve all the problem if you /set cg_drawgun 0 ?
