ZaZa Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Results from Zaandvort GP: Results from Monza GP: And overall standings: The lead keeps slowly dropping so anything is still on the table. We had a quite nice race, kinda impressed Ferrari didn't mess anything up and had a nice strategy which paid off for them, really happy they won on their home race. McLaren was "eating" their tires a lot more than Ferrari so i don't think one stop would work for them, still i think they should already put Norris ahead if they want to think of double championship, constructors title is pretty much theirs but they still have some chance for driver's one aswell (they don't need to I will be happy for Max to win 😄). No team orders lets us see more racing between them but hurts them in driver championship standings, not mentioning the risk of crash but it was close on Monza. On the other side RedBull seems to be a mess, where nothing works (even pitstops) and they keep on dropping, Monza never was their favourite track due to long straights and not that much horsepower engine so i hope they come back next race. Franco's debut good, made places and ended 12, didn't crash (Sargeant would have lost it in Quali but he managed to save it) and he overtook Bottas in the standings which is a bit sad cause i like Valtteri. I wonder who will replace Magnussen in Baku since he got a race ban for penalty points and who will sign with Sauber/Audi because i read that they won't extend with Zhou. So to summarise: Winners: Ferrari Losers: RedBull, McLaren (they could've make more points to RedBull especially after their poor weekend) Best driver: Leclerc Surprise of the race: Colapinto 1 Quote
von Rantala Posted September 5 Author Posted September 5 I was happy that Albon did take points this time. Zaandvort he was disqualifyed after qualifying so i got a lot minus in Fantasy and Albon wasnt able to come to points in the race. So i was happy Albon was able the got points this time. I did take minor risk puttin Verstappen so low, and got two points from that, so risk they pay off. I was very glad to see Ferrari winning the race. Italian fans are great and was glad to see them so happy after victory. It was good for the Italians and for the F1. This season has been great. Everyone waited another poor season, but its been great. F1 should do everything to keep it as it is. I do even think that if one team wins too much they should add weights to cars. I think DTM do it? Or at least did in past? Was nice to see Colapinto doing good job also. I do think Bearman will drive in next race. I was surprised that they gave that penalty to Magnussen, it was minor accident, but i was sure that FIA dont have balls to give race penalty, so i think they would not give any penalties to Magnussen, only if its major crash and this wasnt. I hope they would give time to Drugovich, but i think he is Aston Reserve driver. I still think that who get least points after season ends should give his seat to F2 champion and last place driver should keep one year break from F1. 1 Quote

They have a lot issues and reliability problems. Was thinking about adding Cotapinto, but its bit too risky to add both Williams, but they looking faster and faster. Look like Sainz risky move to Williams might pay off. Race 1. Norris 2. Piastri 3. Sainz 4. Russell 5. Leclec 6. Hamilton 7. Verstappen 8. Perez 9. Albon 10. Hamilton Fastest Lap: Norris Qualifying 1. Leclerc 2. Sainz 3. Verstappen McLaren might be in difficulties in here. After Azerbaijan they had to make changes to they rear wing. It might cost them some time in long straights and Red Bull always been strong in here. I will not be surprised if Ferrari win the race and Leclerc coming Verstappen closest rival, but accident in first corner is not out of the questions either. If Norris and Verstappen fights in the start or race, it might end to accident. 1 Quote

ELSO Posted November 3 Posted November 3 FIA wasn't enough for Lando to win a race. In wet conditions driving skills are more important than having the best car. 1 Quote
