I'd probably say no, this would be there last tournament with their representing countries. Although I do feel Messi will retire before Ronaldo, I can see Ronaldo playing for a few more seasons until 40, because his fitness is unmatched when it comes to his age.

Yes, I tend to look at it this way too. Who knows, Ronaldo might actually play at the 2026 world cup.
