Thanks guys 😊 22 hours ago, captnconcrete said: boy it made a massive improvement . looks very good.!!! that red wall just made me go yukky.painting made a big diff.!!!!!i like the back splash also. and the flooring definitely off sets the nice painted walls. def not in america tho is it? the register hot water heat and the outlets gave it away.lol Yeah I thought I wasn't okay to let it this way. I couldn't have felt good in this flat. It looked like it has just survived WWII 😅 I mean just check what was behing the kitchen, a gas pipe and telecom water just under the water inlet. I removed the gas pipe and I replace the telecom were and made it go through the wall. The flooring really makes the difference. But if you don't renovate the whole flat/room, you can't put it, so it was the opportunity to do that 😋 This is in a city 30-40 km south of Brussels. Now you said it, I have no idea what water inlets look like in America but I can tell you this water intel model is a nightmare as it always breaks or leaks after like 30-40 years. I replace it with other models now. Btw, I recommend everybody to replace water inlet with this kind of model : kind of model. They last way better with the time! 12 hours ago, mehmet said: You did a nice work! You should get some rest now! Cognizant Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Renovation is great! Me too, I'm busy with the renovation now. It goes slower than I expected cause I have to learn everything in the process and find good contractors. I believe the importance of living in a flat/house that appeals to you is essential. When you "don't pay attention" to the things that disappoint you in your place of living, you finally lose the taste of life and everything becomes grey and dull. 1 Quote

That's true, you learn a lot during renovation. You also see how your flat/house is built but it helps a lot to feel comfortable with small repair. I always try to encourage people doing small reparation. Typically it's often a water leak inlet that need to be replaced. It's not that complicated, it helps to understand your flat/house and you will save a lot of money. I hope we will see your pics here 😄 1 Quote

I hope that the pics will occur soon)) the specialists are going to start renovation in a week. At first I wanted to do it myself but then understood that I need to repair cracked walls and ceiling, change the floor covering and make many small changes&additions... and decided to pay for other's work😆 hope they will cope greatly and the result will satisfy me. 1 Quote
