Fastfile ???

On the hardcore server I got an error message. I dont know how to fix it but if I could tap some of your worldly knowledge that would be great. The error stays: "fastfile for zone "mp_crossfire" appears corrupt or unreadable. code 107"

I googled it and could not find anything useful or understandable to me.

Fastfile errors are most likley due to a bad install. Uninstall the game, delete the game folder, and then reinstall the game and the patches. Make sure that you do not install any third party maps/mods/skins of any type.

 

If re-installing does not help then you may have a bad disc. Try replacing the game at the store you bought it at. Remember that if you replace the disc you will need to uninstall and re-install again.

 

If the game still does not work after uninstalling and replacing the disc then you may have a bad piece of hardware like a bad harddrive or stick of RAM. In this case you will have to contact your computer manufacturer to find out how to test and replace any hardware that may be failing.
