Cannibal Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Today on Killbox I was running a 25 killstreak (A rarity for me) and I got auto team swapped. The console said my killstreak was ended by myself. !killed revealed that I died from a "self kill", thus ruining my killstreak. I didn't choose to swap teams, and was very sad about it. Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't know team swapping even broke killstreaks. I've seen grenade-swappers get airstrikes before. Quote
Funksdead Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 That sucks....I have never payed much attention to streak ending when auto team switching, I will try to next time. Quote
Ethan Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Its happened to me, but I was only on like a 20 kill streak Quote
AntiThought Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Closest thing that has happened to me was getting teamswapped during Sudden Death..... removing me from play. But then again I rarely have large kill streaks so if I am loosing them on team balance they are not really noticeable. Quote
trans Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know your kill streak does not get interrupted when you switch teams (that is, UAV, Air Strike and Chopper streak), it's just the script on the server that keeps track of your streaks that counts it as a death.
