Format

Good afternoon gentlemen,

 

So, due to some technical issues on my iMAC, i am going to have to format my mac and do everything from scratch... However, i do not want to lose my data related to the F|A 2 server, such as my profile and XP... i dont wish to start from scratch...

Can someone point me as to what exactly i have to do so that i dont lose everything??

I don't know how filesystem is organized on Macintoshes but I suppose you could try finding etkey file in etmain folder and back it up. Just paste it to new folder after you have reinstalled ET and that should be it. Don't forget to back up your .cfgs too.

As Saizou said, copy the etkey from /Applications/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/ (or wherever you've installed it to) and you're good to go.

Or copy the whole wolfenstein folder and save it in your usb.

guys i saved the ET key , formatted but still lost my Xp... why isnt it working??

Problem solved : When restoring the ET key always remember to turn on PB first... i hope this will help all those who will encounter any issues in the future
