Ok so yesterday I was at my friends and we were playing COD 4 modern warfare on his xbox 360, and I never played it before and Its freaking awesome. I do not own an xbox360 on the other hand, and I was going

too buy it for PC, and my question is before I do

 

Can me and him both play together even when Im on a laptop and hes on an xbox360?

No you can't.. Xbox 360, PS3 are using matchmaking. you'll be playing on someone else's dedicated server.

Is game play the same as xbox as it would be on a computer? I.e controls, etc. any difference?

 

For my first time playing it on xbox friend told me I was hella good for a first timer.

Its quite a bit different. Computer FPS games are SO much easier than console games (xbox,PS3).

Not looking too buy an Xbox360. Do not have that kind of money atm anyway... and Im more of a Play Station fan.

CD is only for Singleplayer Story Mode which I recommend doing besides Multiplayer, after install you can play multiplayer without cd.
