The 70's gave us a ton of great stuff I won't try to post any links as I see a lot don't work but some of the stuff I love

Lynyrd Skynyrd southern rock everyone has heard Freebird but Tuesday's gone is great love song and if you have never heard it check out Mississippi kid cool tune. 

The Who saw them in 82 this band flat out rocks Pinball wizard and behind blue eyes 2 of my favs

Pink floyd I wish I had a dollar for every time I played the Dark Side of the moon album. Welcome to the Machine was also a great 1

Led Zeppelin so many hits like Black Dog and Rock and Roll.
