Gamma Changing During Gameplay

While I am in the middle of a map sometimes my gamma setting changes.

 

I usually keep it up around 1.8 but then all of a sudden it drops down to below 1.

 

Note* I have to change my profile setting each time the game starts, is there a setting in my autoconfig I can adjust for this.
