    Thank you I had just searched online and found that... however when i started my cfg things went back to crazy... i've used this cfg forever... can i upload and get someone to check out what is causing it... I don't think i have changed anything in years

    I did the /r_primitives then i did the /vid_restart and the continual lag went away when trying to pick a fa server... fantastic... but now i'm getting this message that fails to load the server... game mode code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure client check

    Thanks for the tips... cfg shouldn't have anything to do with it because I never changed anything before this happened and i have tried a clean install of ET... as with the windows i do see updates potentially around that date in the history... but i don't know how to retract them to see if that can solve the issue or even if i'm able to. As with r_primitives that would be in a cfg right? If so i'm not loading from anything on the clean run. Just missing playing this game... my usual go to thing after work for many years.

    i need some help... been playing for years... and on the FA server for years... all of a sudden when i launch ET it starts but complete lag just in the launch screen where it takes forever to just deal with the lag to click on a server to try to launch the game... then it never launches... main point is that as soon as I click the program to launch there is something putting the program in super slow motion before I can even get into a game.... happened all of a sudden the other week... don't know of any new programs I installed... tried to go back and uninstall anything I thought may have been within that time frame... i have tried to delete and redownload multiple times and still nothing works.... I have one system restore point.. not sure at what point it was created (before or after ET started not working) but I can't get that to restore and i have tried to reinstall windows 10 with the original system files but that seems to always not work out in the end just as my system restore.... This happened all of a sudden one night when I was playing and I am out of ideas.
