I spent my adolescent in Memphis Tennessee, a place where everyone- yes literally everyone from every cop to the mayor to your grandma smokes pot. quarter pounds go for 200 bucks, and blunts get rolled with 10+grams in them. most people start smoking between ages 8-10. I now live in Washington DC, a place where 1 gram goes for 20-35 bucks just by itself, and I have never seen a quarter pound here. Beyond that, I am studying to be a Nurse Anesthetist, a job which will give me access to just about any narcotic you could ever desire, and as a result they drug test the shit out of us- what does this mean? I haven't been stoned in a very, very long time. Well once in between semesters, the paranoia freaked me out and I went and bought one of those system cleaning kits and a at-home drug test. lol. yep, it's like that. Now, don't get me wrong, I am actually anti-weed, as I know full well how it steals the future out from under young people, makes them lackadaisical, slackers, and not give a damn about anything, including a job or a girlfriend. Mkay I get it, stoners are stupid. I know well, me and all of everyone I ever knew as a kid was a stoner. That doesn't mean its bad for me though, I have my own motivation, my own priorities, and my own agenda, no silly drug is going to shake my future. back when i was in school (which was brief) I always got straight A's even being stoned out of my gourd. And to this day I really miss the old days. So!! check it out~ they are not legalizing pot just yet, just decriminalizing possesion and smoking, which is all I need really, not too hard to find someone in Denver and make a pal ^^ , then it will be completely legal, from my acquisition process to the at-home enjoyment after class. My KD on ET will undoubtedly drop, but ehh, I can live with that. I am a high strung person, and getting drunk leads me to problems with the law, not to mention a handful of people within a generation of me have died from complications with chronic ethanol abuse. This is far better for my personality, along with so many others I'm sure. anyways so this bill was just passed yesterday, I just found out. I'm so incredibly excited, I'm not sure I know a word to describe it. I will be going into class in 8 hours or so, and telling every last one of them to find me some pot pronto lol. Until they legalize distribution I will have to find some teenager and score like the olden days. crazy world we live in, yes?
