FrostedFlake Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 For the UFC/MMA fans, Great fight night, especially for the 2 main events. I think we saw very interesting life lessons when the 2 champions lost. Firstly, Holm vs Tate. 2 completely differents fighters. Really liked the matchup and the fight. Incredible on how sometimes you know you just have to cruise to get the win and then 0.1 second of an idea brings an attack, which could have been legitimate, puts you in a bad shape and then there's nothing to do to get out of trouble. You are screwed. Holly Holm should have been more solid on defense and as every second counts, when you are into 5th round and you lost a lot of energy. Tate was really patient and took the opportunity when Holm let her one. Seriously without the open ooportunity it was an easy finish and win for Holm. Sometimes trying to win more points when it doesn't really matter anymore puts you down. You are wining the hockey game 10-5, you have 5 minutes left but you are still trying to score goals. You do a bad move you hurt yourself then the door is open for a comeback. Think strategy to win. Then, Conor McGregor the loudmouth phenom, I seemed to do good in the first round and as he took 25 pounds to do the match, 3-4 months were clearly not enough to get him into the best shape he could go 5 rounds with. In the second round, he didn't look like a guy having energy left, in the second round of 5 ... Also, he clearly underestimated how many punches Diaz could get without being knocked out .. and he underestimate the pucnches that Diaz could give. Never underestimate anyone, never. What do you think about yesterday fights ? 2 Quote
