Saint070 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Activision and Treyarch have announced the kickoff dates for the Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta on each new-gen platform and PC. PlayStation 4 gamers will be able to dive into cybernetic combat first, with the beta starting on Wednesday, August 19 and running for five days, until Sunday, August 23. Players on Xbox One and PC will both need to wait an additional week, though they’ll have the exact same amount of time to give Black Ops III a spin. On those platforms, the beta will run from Wednesday, August 26 through Sunday, August 30. Currently, no plans have been announced for a beta of the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions of the game, which are being handled by outside developers Beenox and Mercenary Technology. According to an official statement from Activision, the beta will allow players a chance to experience the game’s momentum-based, chained movement system, as well as the new Specialist characters that give personalities and special game-changing abilities to your Create-a-Class soldiers. The publisher is keeping mum on which maps and modes will be included in this beta but promises to announce more details soon. To gain access to the beta, all you need to do is pre-order your copy of the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC, then redeem your beta code. Source:Wallmarkt staff Quote
