I want to edit 3D objects to make a new map of ET, can some1 tell me the best 3D software for editing 3D file. :) 

I want to edit .md3 files.

If you're set on making maps for ET, i think GtkRadiant is what you need. Other than that, if you're looking for free 3D modelling software, the only one that comes to mind is Blender.
