At 18:36 hrs EST this date a structure fire with entrapment was reported in Lewistown, Mifflin Co. PA, It quickly spread to 20 homes and required to assistance of fire companies from 5 counties to get the 6 alarm blaze under control. Units are still on the scene at this time, but command has started to release some of the units as the fire is dyeing down. High winds and the fact that the homes were older style row homes helped the fire spread so quickly. 3 firefighters were treated for minor injuries and several residents of the homes were also see at a area hospital. No reports of fatalities though so great job getting everyone out safely. To put in perspective of how many units were sent to this fire, The volunteer fire dept in run with was dispatched to the fire, We are 45 miles and an hour drive away from the fire scene. Glad my guys all got home safe, I was stuck at work saving the world from the flu . Some pics I was sent by various sources. You will notice firefighters seeming to be standing around but most of the pictures were taken after command ordered the evacuation of the building due to fire conditions and impending structural collapse and they are in the planning stage of defensive operations  post-9911-0-52266300-1395982843_thumb.jpgpost-9911-0-95292800-1395982871_thumb.jpgpost-9911-0-95731800-1395982897_thumb.jpgpost-9911-0-14261100-1395982928_thumb.jpgpost-9911-0-04281400-1395982990_thumb.png
