Here is a neat little Browser Add-on. 

 

Basically, Disconnect, blocks tracking requests in your browser.

 

Advertisers, Analytics, Social networks, all of them follow you around the web tracking where you go. This add-on blocks that.

 

I have been using this for a couple of days now. Pages are loading faster. I am a little surprised to see just how many requests to track my browsing have been blocked.

 

This is a nice compliment to the adblock add-on I use.

 

 

The company that makes Disconnect also has an add-on for search engines. Disconnect Search allows users to use search engines privately.
