Orcface Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 My family is part Italian part Scandinavian. I've always been heavily interested in the Norse, especially the spread of Christianity that wiped out thousands of my kin in a span of 1000 years and destroyed an entire way of life we simply read about in books today. Movies are great for entertainment but very few touch upon the realism that Severed Ways has in these regards. It's a truly unique perspective and has one of the best 'scores' in my opinion, a lot of heavily/black/death metal. It's put on in acts much the way Valhalla Rising was and is truly disturbing in some aspects as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfcc_laLVR4 - here's a trailer, kind of short you won't get much from it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1062965/ - you can find out more here if interested If you want to have a watch please note the camera changes throughout the film. At the start it's very shakey and bright, almost unbearable, but it quickly transitions so give it a moment and you have my word it gets better. Other than that it's a very "slow" moving film. May not be everyones cup of tea but I highly enjoyed it. Quote
