I love this series, But like all good things the FOX network is involved in Sports season came along and they killed the show prematurely. Taken in the context of the time this was made ( 1996 when we had a wonderful array of good sci-fi shows like seaquest, and a others I cant remember right now ) this was a very well made show with a timeless story and just feels like the predecessor/ catalyst for the production of titles to follow like starship troopers movie ( I know the book came first), the Halo series( I f you look at the military end of things and forget the giant ring). I really wish they could have keep this one going, But I highly recommend this series if you are a fan of near future Sci fi FYI It is available though netflix
