Recipe for medlars liquor

Ingredients:

 

100 medlar seeds

1 liter of pure alchool 95°

1 liter of water

700 grams of sugar

 

Making:

Step1:Washes well the seeds and put them to dry just a bit.

In a glass jar put the seeds and 1 liter of alchool and put the cap.

Let them inside for twenty days, occasionally shake the jar.

After twenty days you must filter this mixture, eliminating only the seeds.

For the filtering you can use a funnel, and a sterilized gauze.

Step2:In a pot, boil 1 liter of water with 700 grams of sugar, just begin to boils turn off the flame and let it cool.

Now, when it's cold, shuffle with medlar alchool, and put this in a glass jar for 30 days.

After 30 days you can filter another time before to put all in the glass bottles.

This is the image of medlars liquor after 45 days, and after the filtering.

The color start to be more amber and it is very crystalline.

In the coming months, it will become even darker.
