Screenshot troubles

So I have a bind for /screenshot (which I'm about to change to /screenshotjpeg for simplicity). When I need to make a screenshot, I usually just hit this button, or manually type it in if I need to make a ss of the console.

 

My problem is that it only actually takes a screenshot roughly 40% of the time. I usually end up spamming my bind key 8 times to get one or two screenshots.

 

Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong?

 

For reference, I'm running COD4 on a Mac, OS 10.6
