SinfulRaevyn Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 So, after having played a good amount of Mark of the Ninja on Steam, I started thinking about all of the other cool ninja games I've played. I was trying to think if there were any that were pretty awesome. Aside from Tenchu, back in the day, I remembered this awesome Ninja reflex game! N (Catchy title eh?) N is a platform reflex/puzzle game. It's base premise is pretty simple. Collect coins- make it to the exit. However, getting to the exit isn't always so easy. There are traps and things that want to kill your little ninja. Some of these traps require swift reflex and precision to maneuver around- which of course, isn't as easy as it sounds. The game is pretty challenging, and is one of the better ninja games I've played in the past. While it's not stealth oriented, it is very fun and ninja-like in the reflex department. There are 100 episodes, each with 4 levels per- for a total of 400 levels! Not only that, but there are also a plethora of user created levels that you can play with as well! Some ranging from DDA (don't do anything to win) to insanely difficult. You can even create your own with the N editor. There are also nifty little things to unlock, like ninja colors and even a mode called over-clock, which basically makes your ninja move in real time, making things MUCH MUCH harder. Anyhow, for those looking for something to kill time, I totally recommend this game. It's so much fun to play. If you have a controller, you can also download Xpadder to map the keyboard controls to give it a console feel. Here's a video showcasing some of the more 'pro' user levels: To test the game online: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/n_ninja To download the full game: http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n.html Enjoy! 1 Quote
Jefke Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Somehow reminds me of Dustforce although they aren't all that similar (both are hard platformers , pretty much the end of comparison) Didn't know about this game and I probably will test it out... (great another platformer I will never finish => well, you can't really finish this one ^^) Quote
