Which one is best for call of duty?and other shooters?

 

asus vh236h or asus vh238h

I'd go for the led backlit one (vh238h) mainly because of the contrast. The power consumption is also a big +.

The vh238h costs around $10 more, so it's worth it

 

236 is ccfl backlit - that means it has a higher maximum brightness ( but takes time to get there), it uses more power and has less contrast

(also ccfl's maximum brightness will depreciate over time - i'd guess it would take 4-5 years for the max brightness of the 236 to drop to the 238 - but I doubt you'll be playing with that brightness)

238 is led baclkit - it starts brighter than ccfl backlit, it uses less power and has more contrast.
