Ravaged!

The post apocolyptic, vehicular first person shooter you've been craving for!

Ravaged is a first person shooter online multiplayer game set upon a post-apocalyptic earth devastated by natural disasters caused by the sun's solar flares. It chronicles the struggle between the “Resistance” and the “Scavengers” as they fight one another in order to gain an upper hand in an ongoing war for survival, territory and resources.

In general, the Scavengers are an outnumbering, oppressive, murdering group of lawless criminals that wish to claim all land and resources for themselves. They will stop at nothing in order to accomplish their goal.

The Resistance is a group of resistance fighters hell bent on restoring civilization. These civilians were able to seek shelter as the world succumbed to natural disasters during the year 2012, taking with them precious goods and weapons while the criminals and less fortunate lived off the land.

Ravaged is an action game. Furthermore it is a multiplayer only First Person Shooter with Vehicles, Team Objectives, and skill based gameplay.

The team behind Ravaged worked on titles such as the Desert Combat, Battlefield 2, Frontlines and more.

We are developers with AAA game experience that wanted to create a team based game that requires skill and over the top fun.

Ravaged is currently in beta , releasing on PC in August 2012 via Steam and other PC distribution methods.

Kickstarter

This game was some time ago on kickstarter, so maybe some of you know it from there (the kickstarter page)

Beta

Currently the game is in closed beta, but the developers are giving away beta keys on a daily base (twitter, google+, facebook, their own forum and some random places where people have to search for them) . I got mine yesterday on twitter. If you pre-order the game it also will grant you access to the beta : price atm is 25 dollar for a single (steam) copy, 60 dollar for a four pack (called clan pack on the site) and if you really want 20 dollar on OnLive. Release price is still TBA.

One last thing, atm the developers are giving away beta keys to press, famous youtube channels and CLANS. So maybe one of the leaders can senf a little mail to press@2dawn.com to get some keys our members, so they don't have to mess around with twitter, google + or facebook :P .
